Springboks lock Eben Etzebeth might be forced to leave Japan midway following the South African Human Rights Commission said it took him to court over a case of racial abuse and alleged physical.
The commission on Wednesday said it wouldinstitute legal proceedings against Etzebeth in an equality court on Friday – the same day Etzebeth, an integral member of the South African team, is due to play Italy at a critical World Cup pool game at Shizuoka.
Its uncertain if the court doesnt need that Etzebeth return home to take part. A South Africa group spokesman at Japan didnt immediately respond to messages.
Etzebeth was accused of abusing a person while on a night outside during a holiday in the South African town of Langebaan in August. Precisely the night he was also accused of assault. Hes denied both allegations.
Before South Africas World Cup squad has been announced, the late-night events are reported to have occurred.

Once the events are alleged to have occurred etzebeth was out at a pub in Langebaan with family members and friends.
