Ronnie O’Sullivan claimed the Shanghai Masters title for a third consecutive year after an 11-9 victory over Shaun Murphy.
Where he lost the first three frames, o’Sullivan, playing his first event recovered from a beginning.
He reeled 53 and 54, 78 to tie the session in 5-5.
Murphy nosed back with fractures of 111 and 66, 61.
However, a 130 out of O’Sullivan began a run of four frames.
Murphy kept his hopes alive with realized visits of 90 and 82, but O’Sullivan ended with a rest of 86 to shoot the top prize.
