Ronnie O’Sullivan maintained the Shanghai Masters title for a third year following an 11-9 victory over Shaun Murphy.
Where he lost the first three frames, o’Sullivan, enjoying his first event as the World Championship in April, recovered from a start.
He reeled off breaks of 61, 53 and 54, 78 to tie the session at 5-5.
Murphy nosed back forward 7-6 with breaks of 66, 61 and 111.
But a 130 from O’Sullivan started a run of four frames that were winning.
O’Sullivan ended with a break of 86 to take the # 200,000 top prize, although murphy kept his hopes alive with visits of 82 and 90.
