Team of the All-Ireland Championship: Standout performers in 2019

After Dublin completed the’drive for five’, we select our group of this championship for 2019.
An All-Star hasn’t been got by the Parnells guy because 2013 despite being the standout goalkeeper of the years. That is certainly going to change that season. His kick-outs were characteristically on point all seasons, while he left some moves in both games against Kerry.
The go-to defender of the Kingdom, O’Sullivan has been notable across the balance of the season. The Dingle guy has retained opponents was key since Kerry reached the closing, also scoreless.
A string of understated yet completely efficient defensive performances out of McNamee should see him pick up a first All-Star award.
The Cuala man saved his best to last – putting in two massive performances against Kerry. While he was watertight throughout the play fitzsimons did a project nullifying David Clifford in the second-half of the game that is drawn.
Keogan was in what was a 2019 period for Meath, crucial. The Royals backed their Section 1 promotion with a 8s berth up, also did not look out of the depth at any given point. He had been industrious in the defence and attack, along with his revealing against Clare at the qualifiers was his standout display.
Durcan carried out a project for James Horan, and was tasked with nullifying a number of the nation’s best players this year. He also limited the influence of Jack McCaffrey, Ryan McHugh and Shane Walsh also scored 0-8 during the summer from drama.
In the final that is drawn, he was just astounding as he awakened 1-3. As the Dubs sealed five in a 16, the Footballer of the Year has been instrumental. The Clontarf man is deserving of the following All-Star, and was his customary self down and up the wing.
Fenton had a terrible day in the office in the first game against Kerry, but bounced back in fashion. The Year’s reigning Footballer afforded some strong performances spearheading the wins within Mayo, Roscommon and Cork.
Moran’s contributions in the Killarney win over Mayo were sufficient to seal an All-Star just. His art was crucial for the Kingdom, along with the Kerins O’Rahilly’s man’s source into the inside forwards was topnotch. He headed the Kerry charge against Dublin in both matches.
O’Callaghan took upward another step in 2019, adding new elements to his game. He had been a goal at the Dublin inside forward line, revealing the damage he could do at the wins Roscommon and Mayo in particular. The Cuala man is in the combination to the Footballer of the Year award.
The youthful Kenmare celebrity came of age. Kicking at 0-15 around two All-Ireland finals is no mean accomplishment, and he looks like a player who is only going to get. It is just shaded by him ahead of Michael Murphy of Donegal.
He had been a candidate for Footballer of the Year, such was his wake up during the entire year for the Kingdom. He continued to put in telling demonstrations, and dug Peter Keane’s side out of a hole in the Munster final. The match was swung by his interjection from the second-half against Tyrone in Kerry’s favour. He did not manage to bring that amount in the final, but is deserving of the All-Star. It is shaded by him .
In what was only his second season in senior football, the Fossa superstar continued his impressive form. The 20-year-old stood up when he was needed with a few performances that were special.
3-48 was scored by the top scorer in the tournament, McShane in nine matches. For areas of the year, he is among the first names on this team sheet, and had been unplayable.
The Kilmacud Crokes man was successful, and found himself more offensive positions this year. Perhaps the front-runner for Footballer of the Year.
