Regardless of your thoughts on how the last period of”Game of Thrones” has played out, chances are that you’re going to be sad to see it finish — and maybe a little angry at the manner by which it came at that end. But we have arrived. And from 10:30 p.m on Sunday night, it’ll be over.

‘Game of Thrones’ baby titles are soaring in popularity
It’s been a wild ride for the better part of ten years, and these stories and characters have managed to seep into our daily lives in ways we never could have seen coming. Hell, I even convinced my parents to start watching”Thrones” until the beginning of Season 7 and they do not watch anything. In fact, I still get made fun of for trying to convince them to watch”Lord of the Rings” — they were asleep before Frodo even left the Shire. Nownot only did they watch it all the way through before last season, but they rewatched it again before the current season, and I receive weekly calls from my dad, who usually requires me to bitch about Philly sports, to chat about just what the hell happened in the latest episode.
That will all be over on Sunday night, after what is expected to be a wild sprint to the finish with several important characters meeting their maker in the process. Who, and how, still remains to be seen, but everyone has their own theories, such as bookmakers.
